Monday 1st June
Hello Class 5,
I hope that you all had a wonderful half term and enjoyed the sunshine! 🌞😎
Here is a message for you and your parents:
Please be aware that this term you will notice that the activities posted on the class blogs will be a little different from what you have been used to previously, for example, they may not always include an English and Maths lesson. This is for several reasons, i) there will be a focus on Well Being for the children (in and out of school) as we move through the Covid-19 journey; ii) normally during the summer term we have a range of curriculum focus weeks; iii) to ensure consistency for groups both attending school, or remaining at home. This approach will enable teaching staff to manage providing the planning for both groups in a workable manner.
This week, the school will focus on Well Being in our school community and reflecting on the changes we have all had to make over the last two months. We will also be enjoying some new P.E activities; the weather forecast is good to get out and about!
As before, for those at home, please complete as much or as little as you can, there are no expectations to complete all the work. We will aim to offer alternatives/ideas to address any resource difficulties. However, please feel free to change; adapt to suit your circumstances. There are of course resources such as those on BBC Bitesize that you can use to support you at home. Remember, just do as much as you are able to!
Below are your home learning tasks for Monday. This week we are focusing on CPSHE, Well Being and PE. This week's PE activities are suitable for you to do with your family or on your own.
Monday 1st June
From tomorrow onwards, I'm going to be back in school but please keep sending in your photos as I really enjoy seeing what you're up to and sharing them on the blog. 📷
Hope you have a great day and enjoy the activities, ✍🏃
