Hi Class 5, I just wanted to share these with you - thanks a lot for sending them in. 😃 Here's Lola and her artwork - fantastic - well done! 🎨🌈⭐ Here's Millie on her lockdown camping weekend at home. She spent one night in a bivvy bag on the grass and the second night both of the girls slept on the trampoline under the stars! They cooked tea and breakfast on a fire. Hello everyone, I just wanted to share some more of class 5's news and photos with you! 📸 Here we have Olivia and Evie on a walk up a VERY big  hill - what a lovely view!  They found lots of insects on the way; lots of different butterflies, bumble bees, hover flies, and some strange flies that they had never seen before. They also found two pheasants, who were not as happy to see them and ran away as quick as they could.  Sounds like a fun walk girls!! 🦋🌞🌻 Here's Tahlia with some very impressive creations🔨🎨: Wow Tahlia - your bridge looks fantastic!!⭐⭐ Amazing artwork - well done!! 🎨 It's lovely to see what you're getting up to - please keep them coming! Hello Class 5, I hope you've all had a good week and you've been enjoying learning about the ancient Maya. Good Morning Class 5! I just wanted to share these photos with you that I received this morning - it's great to see what you've been up to! Tahlia with her bug hotel  🐛 :   I hope your first guest enjoyed their visit! 🐜 Annie with a beautiful bouquet of flowers that she picked - what a lovely idea! 🎕 It's been great to hear that some of you have already finished your letters to the care home residents too - I'm sure they'll really appreciate these. I was in school yesterday and we had a go at doing the egg drop challenge - you can see a photo of  the end result on Twitter (needless to say none of the eggs survived, but we did have lots of fun).  Enjoy your day, Mrs Piper

Community Outreach

Good Morning Class 5, In school, we’ve been talking about ways in which we might help others in the community. As you may have seen on the news, many care homes across the country have had to close their doors to visitors to help to protect the people staying there. This means that the residents can’t have visitors as they normally would. We thought it might be nice if they received a letter to help to cheer them up. Therefore we are asking everyone in the juniors to write a letter to the residents of the Bay Tree Care Home. We are starting with classes 5 and 6. We have emailed your mums and dads with who we would like you to write to. In your letter we would like you to think about including the following things: An introduction to who you are - Age - Who you live with - Interests/hobbies -What you enjoy at school Lockdown - What have you been during so far during lockdown? - How do you feel about it?
