WALT: Write a story based on a map
Frank Cottrell-Boyce, who was the author we saw at the Literature Festival, loves using maps as a stimulus for his books.
Have a go at sketching your own map, then write a story about it. I have bought a copy of his latest book, Noah's Gold, as a prize for the most creative map and story.
Success criteria
I have:
- Sketched a unique map which matches the story
- Used a wide range of adjectives and adverbs
- Described a setting in detail
- Included an imaginative dilemma
- Thought of a suitable story ending
Please bring the maps and stories with you when you return to school.
Good luck!

If you are able to, take part in a Joe Wicks workout.
If not, please use the time to complete any of the week's tasks.
Well done for all of your hard work this term. I look forward to seeing you all again soon.
Please keep yourself safe over the holiday.
