I hope you've all had a good week and you've been enjoying learning about the ancient Maya.

 Here are your tasks for Friday:

 Class 5 Tasks - 24th April

 If possible, please ask someone to test you on your spellings too.

 I also have a another recording from the Open the Book Team to share with you. This week they have prepared the story Storm on the Lake for us all to listen to.

 Thanks to all of you who have sent in letters for the care home residents - they're great and I'm sure will be much appreciated! There is still time if you'd like to write one and email it in, but please do so by the end of Friday.

Gloucestershire Rockstars Championship

Hello Everyone, We just wanted to tell you about the ‘Gloucestershire Rockstars Championship’ that you’re all going to have the chance to take part in next week. It’s a tournament against lots of other schools in the area that will be played using Times Tables Rock Stars. The tournament itself will run over three days from 12th – 14th May between 10am and 1pm each day. The idea is that you will try to answer as many questions as you can during those times. You’ll earn a point for each correct answer and these will be counted to work out the highest scoring individuals, classes and schools. This event is optional, but it would be brilliant if we can get as many of you involved as possible! You don’t need to be on it continuously, just go on for as long as suits you between 10am and 1pm.
