Using the photo on the link below, create your own story. The story can be about anything you like. Make sure that you check and edit your work once you have finished. Please send your stories in to me. I will be selecting a 'Star Author' who will receive a prize.

During the afternoon Zoon meeting, you will have the opportunity to give a book recommendation. I will also read a section of our class book.

After the meeting, you have a choice of activities. I will explain these tasks in more detail during the meeting.

Using the story that you created earlier, design a book cover or draw (paint/colour) some of the characters. As you are doing this, you might want to listen to an audiobook on the link below.

Create a comic or freeze frame of a scene from your favourite book. 

Reading Photo

Take a picture of yourself reading your favourite book and send it in to me. I will share these in tomorrow's Zoom meeting.

Virtual Sports Day

Dear Parents, Normally at the end of the year, we would spend a day all together out on the field, taking part in our School Sports Day. We may not be able to do that this year, but it doesn't mean we can't have some sports day fun. Instead, this year we will be having a Virtual Sports Day. There are 5 challenges for you to complete to win house points for your house. For all the details, please click here . The competition starts now! Good morning, Here are today's tasks: Spelling Shed Reading Plus Times Table Rock Stars Spelling test Maths WALT: Interpret two-way tables Video Activity Answers English - COMPETITION WALT: Write a story based on a map Frank Cottrell-Boyce, who was the author we saw at the Literature Festival, loves using maps as a stimulus for his books. Have a go at sketching your own map, then write a story about it.
