Hello Class 5,

I hope you all well and enjoyed Arts Week. 🎨🎨🖌🖌 Thanks very much for all the lovely photos that you sent in; I have really enjoyed seeing all your wonderful artwork. I have also been very impressed by the artwork the children in school have created. Well done everyone! ⭐

This week is going to be Science Week! 🧪🌠⛅🐅 Each day we are going to focus on a different topic and throughout the week we are going to learn about some famous scientists and inventors. On the daily task sheets you will find three suggested activities. Some of these are investigations, if you would like to do try any of these please check with an adult before starting.

On Monday we are going to be focusing on Earth and Space, here are the suggested activities:

Gloucestershire Rockstars Championship

Hello Everyone, We just wanted to tell you about the ‘Gloucestershire Rockstars Championship’ that you’re all going to have the chance to take part in next week. It’s a tournament against lots of other schools in the area that will be played using Times Tables Rock Stars. The tournament itself will run over three days from 12th – 14th May between 10am and 1pm each day. The idea is that you will try to answer as many questions as you can during those times. You’ll earn a point for each correct answer and these will be counted to work out the highest scoring individuals, classes and schools. This event is optional, but it would be brilliant if we can get as many of you involved as possible! You don’t need to be on it continuously, just go on for as long as suits you between 10am and 1pm.
