English - WALT: Write a travel text

Today, you are going to write the next two sections of your travel brochure. 

Think about some other sections to focus your paragraphs on. Choose from the list below:

  • Things to see and do

Virtual Sports Day

Dear Parents, Normally at the end of the year, we would spend a day all together out on the field, taking part in our School Sports Day. We may not be able to do that this year, but it doesn't mean we can't have some sports day fun. Instead, this year we will be having a Virtual Sports Day. Good morning, Here are today's tasks: Spelling Shed Reading Plus Times Table Rock Stars Spelling test Maths WALT: Interpret two-way tables Video Activity Answers English - COMPETITION WALT: Write a story based on a map Frank Cottrell-Boyce, who was the author we saw at the Literature Festival, loves using maps as a stimulus for his books. Have a go at sketching your own map, then write a story about it.
