Reading Plus Intro

Having logged on to Reading Plus for the first time, you will automatically complete the initial assessment (InSight). This not only provides a baseline, but also assigns you to the most appropriate start point for the reading lessons. Please try to be in a quiet environment (if completing the assessment at home) and to do your best.

 

The InSight assessment typically takes between 30-45 minutes to complete. 


You do not need to complete any further tasks today but you can watch the videos below so that you are ready to start.

Gloucestershire Rockstars Championship

Hello Everyone, We just wanted to tell you about the ‘Gloucestershire Rockstars Championship’ that you’re all going to have the chance to take part in next week. It’s a tournament against lots of other schools in the area that will be played using Times Tables Rock Stars. The tournament itself will run over three days from 12th – 14th May between 10am and 1pm each day. The idea is that you will try to answer as many questions as you can during those times. You’ll earn a point for each correct answer and these will be counted to work out the highest scoring individuals, classes and schools. This event is optional, but it would be brilliant if we can get as many of you involved as possible! You don’t need to be on it continuously, just go on for as long as suits you between 10am and 1pm.
